Chenango Canal Towpath Trail
The Chenango Canal Towpath Trail was used from 1834 to 1878.
Boats and barges were towed in the canal by horses and mules, providing cheap transportation.
The trail has now become a hiking trail and goes through the center of Hamilton Village.
