CHENANGO TOWPATH TRAIL
Starts off of College Street on the Colgate campus

1) Runs along the Chenango canal
2) Used to be 97 miles long, running from Binghamton to Utica
3) Built and operated in the mid-19th century in Upstate New York: it connected the Susquehanna River to the Erie Canal
4) In 1878 the canal was abandoned with the arrival of trains
